Ruto Reassures Kenyans of Progress and Inclusion

During Jamhuri Day celebrations at Uhuru Gardens, President William Ruto confirmed again his commitment to delivering campaign promises. He emphasized transformative policies and addressing public concerns.

The President acknowledged criticism, including claims of dishonesty and harmful policies. He urged critics to focus on facts and defended his administration’s efforts in housing and job creation.

“We encourage critics to engage with truth,” he said. “Soon, Kenyans will see results like affordable housing and more jobs.”

President Ruto highlighted the importance of unity and inclusion in governance. He pledged to involve all Kenyans, regardless of political views.

Ruto celebrated milestones in healthcare, with 11 million citizens registered under the Social Health Insurance Fund. He commended five counties for leading the Taifa Care program and encouraged others to join.

He also announced plans to expand digital infrastructure. This includes connecting 74,000 public institutions and establishing 25,000 Wi-Fi hotspots. “This will give millions internet access and boost economic growth,” he added.

Gambia’s President Adama Barrow praised Kenya’s progress in climate action, trade, and integration. Kenyan-born U.S. politician Huldah Momanyi Hiltsley also attended.

President Ruto expressed optimism and urged unity. “We must build a prosperous and inclusive Kenya for all,” he concluded.
