President Ruto Nominates Dorcas Oduor For Attorney General

President Ruto Nominates Dorcas Oduor For Attorney General. Dorcas Oduor is nominated by President William Ruto as the Attorney General (AG). Oduor is a High Court advocate with a Master’s in International Conflict Management. Besides, she holds Bachelor of Laws from the University of Nairobi. Is currently the Secretary of Public Prosecutions at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP). She also holds a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.

Oduor served in a number of capacities at the ODPP before her appointment. These including State Counsel in the Office of the Attorney General, Deputy Chief State Counsel, and Head of the Department of Economic, International, and Emerging Crimes.

“Senior Counsel Oduor proven to have unwavering integrity, remarkable professional skill. And a strong dedication to upholding the law. Chief of Staff Felix Koskei wrote Ruto’s memo to Cabinet, which states that Dorcas Agik Oduor becomes the country’s first female Attorney-General if the National Assembly approves her appointment.

Days have passed since President Ruto moved his first choice, Rebecca Miano, to the Ministry of Tourism as part of his Cabinet shift in response to the most recent anti-government demonstrations. President Ruto Nominates Dorcas Oduor For Attorney General
