PM Modi is now most followed world leader on X 100.2 followers.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is now the most followed leader in the world on X, having surpassed the 100 million following mark.

The Prime Minister is far ahead of other world leaders like US President Joe Biden, who currently has 38.1 million followers, HH Sheikh Mohammed, the current ruler of Dubai (11.2 million). And Pope Francis (18.5 million), whose X handle has seen an impressive growth of approximately 30 million users in the last three years.

The Prime Minister is also in front of several well-known Indian politicians. Likes of Arvind Kejriwal and Rahul Gandhi. On X, Akhilesh Yadav of the Samajwadi Party has 19.9 million followers. Delhi head Minister Arvind Kejriwal has 27.5 million, and former Congress head and LoP Rahul Gandhi has 26.4 million.

7.4 million belong to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, 6.3 million to Lalu Prasad Yadav of the RJD. Further, 5.2 million to Tejashwi Yadav, and 2.9 million to NCP Chief Sharad Pawar.

In addition to politicians, PM Modi has surpassed a number of current international athletes. Including football players Virat Kohli and Neymar Jr.

American basketball player LeBron James has 52.9 million followers on X, Brazilian football player Neymar Jr. has 63.6 million. And India’s best batter, Virat Kohli, has 64.1 million.

Even celebrities like Lady Gaga (83.1 million), Kim Kardashian (75.2 million). And Taylor Swift (95.3 million) are behind the prime minister.

With over 91 million followers on Instagram and close to 25 million subscribers on YouTube, PM Modi is also well-known on both platforms. Also read on
