Obama Rallies for Harris in Pennsylvania

Barack Obama campaigned for Kamala Harris in Pennsylvania. He criticized Donald Trump and urged voters to support Harris in the upcoming 2024 election. To illustrate his point, Obama shared a personal story about the high cost of diapers, emphasizing Trump’s lack of involvement in parenting.

Obama recalled his reaction after buying diapers for his daughter Malia in 1998. He mentioned that he remembered thinking about the high cost of diapers. He then jokingly asked the crowd if they thought Donald Trump had ever changed a diaper, which prompted laughter from the audience. Obama also urged Black men to support Vice President Kamala Harris in her presidential campaign, calling it “unacceptable” to abstain from voting due to her gender.

According to CNN, Kamala Harris has been working to mobilize Black men even before she became the Democratic nominee. Her goal is to boost support for President Joe Biden. A source from her team expressed concern, stating, “We’re worried that the couch will win. We need to ensure Black men and Hispanic men don’t stay on the couch. If they don’t vote, that counts as a vote for him.”

Next week, Harris will visit Detroit for a radio town hall on Tuesday. Charlamagne tha God, a well-known radio co-host, will host the event. During the one-hour session, set for 5 p.m. ET, Harris will answer questions from callers in key battleground states.

One attendee quickly responded that Trump had changed his own diapers. Obama chuckled and acknowledged the joke, stating that he almost made the same comment but decided against it.

Obama dismissed Trump’s antics and conspiracy theories. At the same time, Trump attacked Harris, labeling her inconsiderate. (ET, CNN)
