Michelle Obama's Opinion on U.S Polls: DNC

Michelle Obama sharply criticized former President Donald Trump at the Democratic National Convention. She suggested Trump was targeting a “Black job” and recalled his campaign comments about immigration. Michelle condemned Trump for his “limited, narrow view of the world” and accused him of spreading fear. She also honored her late mother, Marian Robinson, who died in May, expressing doubt about her ability to speak due to this personal loss.

Opening with excitement, she noted a “wonderfully magical” feeling in the air and a renewed sense of hope across the country. She discussed overcoming fear, division, and hate while pursuing the American dream.

Reflecting on her grief, she praised her mother’s values of hard work and humility. She commended Kamala Harris for sharing these values and highlighted Harris’s achievements and readiness for the presidency.

Michelle also criticized Trump’s tactics, calling them a “same old con” based on divisive rhetoric. She pointed out issues like health care cuts and education restrictions, arguing these would not improve lives but foster small-mindedness.

She urged listeners to stay active and vote, stressing the importance of registration. Michelle called for strong support for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, emphasizing that the election will be tight and every vote counts. She highlighted the need for collective action to counter fear and division and honor past sacrifices.
