Hassan Joho’s Education on check as a CS nominee. An Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) member Hassan Joho was proposed for William Ruto’s Cabinet. Joho received a nomination to serve as the Cabinet Secretary for Maritime Affairs, Blue Economy, and Mining. A lawyer Rueben Okari has asked parliament to submit the nominee’s academic records by Tuesday, July 30. In a letter to parliament, lawyer Rueben Charles Okari has asked for information about the educational history of former Mombasa governor Hassan Joho.

“We refer to the above matter on which we act on our behalf and on behalf of the people of Kenya who are truly concerned about the true qualifications of Hassan Ali Joho, nominee for Cabinet Secretary Mining, Blue Economy, and Maritime Affairs,”

Why the academic records of Hassan Joho?

Concerning the academic credentials of the former governor and nomination for the CS of Mining and Blue Economy. Okari wrote on behalf of Kenyans on Friday, July 26. Even though, Hassan Joho’s Education on check as a CS nominee president Ruto praises the current nominees for the better Kenya

Besides, in the letter, Okari requested Joho’s Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) certificate and any other academic  qualifications presented by the nominee, citing Article 35(1a) of the Kenyan Constitution and Section 7c of the Public Appointments Act 2011.

In conclusion, “Considering the public interest of this matter please submit by or on Tuesday July 30. We hope that litigation will not be necessary in enforcing this requests,” he added.
