Harris Responds to Criticism, Defends Abortion Rights

Vice President Kamala Harris responded to criticism from Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders about not having biological children. In the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Harris expressed sympathy for Sanders. She noted that many women find joy in their families, whether by blood or love. Harris emphasized her strong connection with her stepchildren, Cole and Ella Emhoff, calling them her “modern family.”

Kamala dismissed Sanders’ remarks that children keep people humble. She said it’s not the 1950s anymore; families now take many forms. Sanders’ comments follow similar criticism from Sen. JD Vance, who attacked childless leaders.

Harris also defended abortion rights during the interview. She criticized former President Trump for actions against Roe v. Wade. She called his claims about Democrats supporting the execution of babies after birth a “boldface lie.” Kamala reaffirmed her dedication to reproductive rights, mentioning her visit to a Planned Parenthood clinic as the first sitting vice president to do so.

This week, Kamala plans more media appearances on shows like “The View” and “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” Her strategy aims to focus on reproductive rights and engage with diverse audiences. (CNN)
