A Hezbollah drone entered Israeli territory undetected, resulting in the deaths of four soldiers and injuries to over 60 near Binyamina, north of Tel Aviv. This attack is among the deadliest since the conflict began last October. Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari vowed to investigate and improve national defenses. Seven soldiers sustained severe injuries, and Hezbollah claimed responsibility for launching 38 attacks on Israeli positions.
The drone reportedly crossed into Israeli airspace without triggering alarms, a lapse that officials are now scrutinizing. Analysts suggest this breach could indicate a shift in Hezbollah’s tactics, potentially signaling increased sophistication in their drone capabilities
Separately, an Israeli airstrike struck a hospital courtyard in central Gaza. They killed four people and also injured around 40, including many displaced Palestinians. About 5,000 individuals were sheltering there, marking the seventh strike on this location since January. Israeli officials stated the strike targeted a Hamas command center within the hospital, emphasizing their efforts to limit civilian harm while blaming Hamas for using civilian infrastructure.
The strikes in Gaza on Sunday led to at least 40 fatalities, including 13 children.
As violence escalates, the situation in the region deteriorates, prompting urgent calls for international intervention to protect civilians.
